Get the city to fix the small broken things. When I tell you about a broken streetlight, a pothole, a missed trash pickup, or a dead traffic sign, find the right city or utility reporting page and get the details they need: the asset number if there is one, the exact location, and a photo if I have one.
File the report and keep the confirmation number. Check the status every few days and follow up until it is fixed, then tell me it is done.
