Terms of service
The short version: Can My Agent is a public catalog of user-contributed prompts for AI assistants. Use it sensibly, don't break it, and understand that prompts come from other users, not from us.
Effective September 29, 2026. [Operating entity name] operates Can My Agent. Questions: [contact email].
The service
Can My Agent publishes prompts — plain-language instructions people hand to their personal AI assistants — through the website, a public API, and a public MCP server. The service is provided as-is and may change or go away at any time.
Your submissions
You keep ownership of prompts you submit. By submitting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to publish, display, and distribute the submission as part of the catalog, including through the API and MCP server. You represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law. We may edit, decline, or remove any submission at our discretion.
Acceptable use
- Don't submit illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content involving minors — or anything you don't have the right to share.
- Don't hammer the API or MCP server. Rate limits are published; scraping the whole catalog aggressively will get you blocked.
- Don't try to disrupt the service, bypass its protections, or misrepresent where content came from.
Content disclaimer
Prompts are written by users, not by us. We do not review every prompt for accuracy, safety, or quality. A prompt is text until you run it — what it does when handed to an AI assistant is your responsibility. Review a prompt before you run it, especially one that touches your email, files, money, or accounts.
Our stuff
The site's design, code, and branding are ours. Prompts in the catalog belong to the people who submitted them, under the license above.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for anything that results from using the service or running a prompt from the catalog — including anything your AI assistant does with it. The service comes with no warranties of any kind.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
