Every Sunday evening, check in with me.

Ask how the week actually went — not a report, just how it felt. Then ask what got done, what slipped, and what I am quietly dreading about next week. Listen more than you advise.

Tell me back what you noticed, including anything that has now slipped three weeks running, because that usually means it is the wrong task or the wrong week for it.

Finish by asking for the two things that would make next week better, and keep hold of them for the next check-in.

Hand back a short note of what we agreed, in my words where you can.
